Lily St. Regis is one of the secondary antagonists of the musical "Annie" and its film adaptions. She is the dumb blonde, lipstick-wearing girlfriend of Rooster Hannigan, from Jersey City. Lily is a whiny woman whom Miss Hannigan is mean to. On

Lily is the one pretending to be Mrs. Mudge (Annie's fake mother) along with Rooster as Annie's father.

When we first meet Lily, she is caught stealing jewelry from Miss Hannigan

Miss Hannigan hands her some boxes and Lily helps herself to some belongings and is the one who finds the sealed envelope with Annie's locket inside.

At the end of the film, she is seen arrested, it is unclear what has happened to her after that (presumably she has been sent to jail).

In the 1999 film,

Because she had been cut off from the deal, she has to stay with the orphans while Miss Hannigan is the one pretending to be Annie's mother.

At the orphanage, she lets slip that Miss Hannigan and Rooster were at Warbucks and the orphans get her to confess, but she was sure that they'd come back and that Rooster wouldn't desert her, again. This caused her head over to Warbucks mansion and confess and she is arrested with Miss Hannigan and Rooster.

Lily is portrayed by the late Barbara Erwin in the original musical, Bernadette Peters in the 1982 film, and Kristen Chenoweth in the 1999 film.
